Nestled away in the most beautiful countryside in Strathblane, Scotland, you will find Milndavie Farm Riding School. We are proud of our history being a family run riding school for the over 40 years, which was started by Marjory McNicol and is now run by her daughter Fiona Aborida and grand-daughter Yazmin.
We are very lucky to wake up every day in the most peaceful and idylic place, and we want to share that with you. A visit to our yard will leave you feeling happy! Not only will you be riding our happy and healthy horses, you will be making new friends as well.
We cater for new riders, young riders, those coming back after a break (even some as long as 25 years!), we are especially patient and understanding with nervous riders and for those more experienced riders who want professional lessons - come to our monthly schooling sessions with top coaches David a and David b.
If you are looking for the perfect livery yard for your special four legged friend, then come and have a coffee and take a look at our facilities. We have 4 different fields with running streams for fresh water, secure and variable sizes of stables - which have all had a recent freshen up during the nice spell of summer weather in June.
One of the things we are known for is, letting you get close to the horse you ride. There will be some days when time is tight and you need your special friend tacked up for you and 'ready to go'......there will be those days when you want to relax, catch and groom him before riding out. Once you formed a special bond you might even want to part lease or full lease, which we'd be delighted to offer.
